REST AND SELF-CARE ARE SO IMPORTANT. WHEN YOU TAKE TIME TO REPLENISH YOUR SPIRIT IT ALLOWS YOU TO SERVE OTHERS FROM THE OVERFLOW. YOU CANNOT SERVE OTHERS WITH AN EMPTY VESSEL.
Stress is a physical, mental, and emotional factor that causes bodily or mental tension. It can be consuming and damaging. Memory problems, anxiety, worry, depression, anger, feeling overwhelmed, aches and pains, dizziness and nausea, chest pain, these are all things that we can experience when being punched in the face by stress. I have never thought of myself as a person who gets stressed out easily. But the thing is that I do find myself in the midst of stress fairly often, I have learned ways that help me calm, clear my head, and reduce the physical and mental reactions to stress.
So how do we combat stress and feel back to our healthy selves? There are a few ways that help to improve your ability to handle stress.

I am still a work in progress and I don't claim to have all the answers, but I do know that the healthier my body is, the healthier my mind is. And like the quote in the beginning of this post, without filling my own vessel, I will not be able to fully give to the people around me including my family, friends, and students.
